Twenty Two
I have assembled several lists of both completed works, and of skill sets. These lists correspond to Adobe Photo shop and Adobe Illustrator.
Accomplished Photo Shop Skills
- palettes, menus, tools
- rulers, guides
- importing and exporting files
- adjusting canvas and image
- managing layers, groupings
- layer effects, layer styles
- using/importing brushes and painting tools
- using gradients and blends
- drawing shapes
- using pen tools
- filter effects
- formatting
Techniques I need to work on
- working with masks
- understanding paths
- filtering through the MANY color options and choices
- going over quality issues again, (size, format, pixel counts to measurements etc)
- slicing options (not too sure what this is)
- working with opacity and fill
- managing blending, making patterns
- still more type/font work
Although I have worked with Illustrator, my level of expertise is low. I have a limited “working” knowledge of the program, and I can use it, but it is a bare step up from Photo Shop (in terms of drawing). I am at the point were I know what I want, but not really how to get there. I am not really able to use the program to improve my work.
I have created several pieces of work that deserve to be listed at this junction.
Two Large Logo’s of “PAC” one is rusted the other spray painted.
- Created using typography, brushes, color gradients, layer effects and styles, some pen styling, and layers management.
Five black and white shirt designs (all available at the PAC store).
- Using photo shop layers, objects, duplications, filters, and effects.
One Spray Paint PAC Mascot.
- Basic Illustrator path drawing, and limited but cumulative knowledge Photo shop effects.
