I am really impressed by your project! I saw all the matchbooks in ev&#039;s room, but it took me a few days to actually go to the site. I think this was a really cool project and I also think you would DIG examining this subject through anthropology or sociology to help you contextualize it in other social movements. I also think that you will see that the scope of this issue goes far beyond America as well, I was shocked by the consumerism in Kenya, which is not a traditionally material-driven or consumptive country (I would argue that America, on the other hand, has traditionally been a country driven by consumption). 
Anywho, really cool stuff, I hope you continue pursuing this subject and live in up in SE Asia! Can&#039;t wait to hear about it.
