1. Erin- English is the only language I use at home.
Nozomi- Japan is the language I use at home.
Brandon- I speak English and American Sign Language at home. American Sign Language is a form of communication used with hand gestures.

2. The types of cars we have varies throughout the country. We drive American, Japanese, and German made cars, such as ford, or toyota. It comes down to the size of the family and the location of that family lives. A large family could have a van or SUV where a smaller family would have smaller car. Some families have more than one car. However in the city, it is common to find people using public transportation like train, taxi and buses.

3. We all live on the campus. We normally walk to our classes, however, Brandon uses his bike to get to his classes. There are other ways that students on our campus get by, for example they use skateboards. Skateboards are a flat piece of wood that have four wheels on the bottom. Students that do not live on campus may drive to their schools, or use public transportations like busses.

4. In our country, English is our primary use of language. Spanish comes second. Despite those two languages, our country is known for multi-cultural diversity. So you can find many different languages being spoken in our country.

5. Brandon does own a car. It is a truck. Erin and Nozomi do not own a car.

6. We all do own cell phone.

What type of cars does your parents drive? How many gas stations are there? Do your friends carpool with your parents? Carpooling is sharing a ride with someone else that needs to go to the same place.

Does everyone know how to use computers? How often do you use it? Can you use them at Public Libraries?

Do you write and mail letters? Do you do the same for greeting cards and packages? Do you have post offices?
