BIO
Faye A. Serio grew up in Indiana and received her B.A. from DePauw University and her M.F.A. from the University of Notre Dame. She taught photography at Goshen College and SUNY Potsdam and for a number of years held a dual appointment with St. Lawrence University and Clarkson University as an Associate Professor of the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley. While on leave spring 2005, Serio taught for Semester at Sea, a floating university, and traveled and photographed around the world. Currently Serio is a Senior Lecturer and teaches multiple levels of photography and digital art. Serio has been awarded another teaching appointment for Semester at Sea for the spring 2009 semester and will teach drawing, painting, and digital courses aboard the ship.
