Intro to Studio Art
about my work: Currently, my prints and drawings are explorations of many landscapes, the past and the present, and my own personal symbology. They are playful and haunting at the same time: they invite, yet somehow they don’t always make sense once the viewer is inside. My work combines various interests in landscapes, patterning, and textures, as well as a love for bright and unexpected colors.
more about me and my interests: In addition to spending time in the studio, my cat and I love to fish and hunt up here in the North Country. I am resisting the lure (no pun intended) of a cell phone and computer, enjoying the solitude of the rivers and woods. Although, I admit I have a hankering for Scrabulous, and have been known to watch an episode or ten of Lost on my office computer.
