Pellets are the answer.

The North Country should peruse pellets as a form of bio mass because it is cheap, efficient, and an effective addition to the economy. The North Country is a heavily agricultural area, and residents already use wood in one way or another to heat their houses, and provide fuel for a furnace. If residents switch to pellets it will be a cost effective way to provide the North Country with adequate power as well as diversify their energy source. The mills are affordable enough so that residents are able to produce their own pellets. The increased production and need of trained technicians to provide maintenance work on the stoves will provide additional work in the region stimulating the economy.
