Good Online Poetry Journals

…as we continue our 2011 FODYLL forage into poetry, a moment to those journals that exist only online. For years the SLU Libraries have maintained an excellent collection of literary reviews from across the nation, and these are, of course, the platform for contemporary poetry.  Along with such mainstays as the Kenyon Review, Poetry, Hudson Review, and Mississippi Review reviews that exist only online have begun to carve out places for themselves.  Here are two good one’s to get started with Failbetter.  The name is taken from this quote by Samuel Becket: Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter.Try again. Fail again. Fail better (as a sometimes writer, this I rather like).  Also I’d recommend Hoboeye, which published poetry, fiction, art, and music.  Good stuff.
