A basic presenter allows for the control of a PowerPoint or other presentations
- Inexpensive (the Logitech R400 pictured is available for $40 at Brewer Bookstore)
- Easy to use: just plug receiver into computer (pc or mac) and it’s ready to use
- Use as you move around the classroom freely
- Simple/intuitive controls: start slides show, advance/rewind slides, blank projector, laser pointer
- No extra buttons to get in the way
- More sophisticated presenters allow for mouse control, or even include a keypad
- Since you provide the technology, you always know that it’s ready to go
