Looking for something to keep your ice cold November interesting? Looking for something productive to fill your spare time? Or better yet, looking for a creative way to procrastinate? Well then, you should check out, a website that promotes National Novel Writing Month.

The goal of this site is to get people all around the world to write 50,000 words between November 1st and November 30th. With a daily word count and a graph that shows how many more words need to be written each day, as well as exercises and forums to stimulate the writing process, this website works very hard to get as many “winners” for the competition as possible (note that a “winner” is anyone who completes the 50,000 words by November 30th).

Today is November 8th. You’re a few days behind, but winning NaNoWriMo is still possible if you dedicate the time! Twenty-two days left — you can do it! Get out there and start writing your masterpieces.
