Habitat for Humanity
SLU Habitat for Humanity is the Collegiate Chapter of the local affiliate, Raquette Valley Habitat for Humanity. SLU Habitat is open to students, staff, and faculty at St. Lawrence University.
We are involved directly in the construction of homes in the St. Lawrence Community. We are currently building in Massena, and hope to break ground on a house in Canton soon. We also support our local affiliate by hosting fundraisers and events that raise awareness of Habitat for Humanity
In addition we also sponsor a Spring Break Service Trip. In the last few years we have been to Louisianna, North Carolina, and Washington to build Habitat homes.
