Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide the citizens of St. Lawrence County with an economical and environmentally friendly way to both dispose of waste products and produce energy. The most effective way to accomplish this is by progressing in a direction of “zero waste”. The concept of “zero waste” is based on the idea that we can reuse/recycle the materials usually considered to be waste instead of throwing them in a landfill.  We aim for the construction and operation of a local Waste to Energy plant, community composting, and methane digesters on farms.  Zero waste in St. Lawrence County would greatly benefit the region.
