The Campus

Bordeaux Montaigne University is affiliated with other institutions in Bordeaux in which students may be able to take classes in French and in English:

  • Bordeaux Montaigne University was founded in 1441. Its fields of study were at that time theology, law, medicine and art. It is now a humanist university with classes in art, languages, literature, human and social science.
  • BM has a strong Language center where students will take grammar and conversation classes
  • BM is also affiliated with Institut d’Études Politiques (IEP), a highly-regarded institution focused on government and political studies.
  • The university offers also classes in Public Health, biology, physics, computer sciences, engineering, psychology, anthropology, economics. The university also has a school of Management (IAE Bordeaux) where students could take business classes in French and in English.
