Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips

On April 22, 1944 by Warner Bros. Pictures and The Vitaphone Corporation released this video into theaters. This cartoon was made during World War II, and clearly reflects the U.S. attitude towards Japan. This video is extremely controversial due to it’s racist portrayal of the japanese people, Bugs Bunny calls the Japanese soldier “slant eyes” and “monkey face”. It was shown to children to get the message across that japanese people deserve to die and that they are bad people so to children, he’s a hero.
