Change, Library Collections, and Interlibrary Loan

Public Services Librarian Paul Doty has recently completed an essay on the relationship between interlibrary loan and library collections, and how the changes brought to interlibrary loan by networked information technology can work to make the argument for the viability of a “collection.” It’s a short piece about how technology figures into actual change, and the link to the full essay is below.
