I plan to research the how street food has turned from crucial to purchasing everyday groceries into a commodity and global trend that has spread from Asia into Europe and America. Food stalls/markets have become the next “buzzfeed worthy” social event. I am still juggling with which Asian country to start my research with. I am leaning towards Thailand since I know that street vendors originated from Asia and Bangkok is known to have one the worlds best street vendors.
