After spending the time researching this paper and looking the idea of Marriage and what it means to a number of people my scope of marriage/partnership/companionship has changed. By looking at this through theorists and seeing how these theories can be applied to the idea of love has changed for me what love is all about and it means to individual people.
I have enjoyed this research topic and what I have learned form it. My take away is going to be looking more closely at how Karl Marx idea and theory about base and superstructure are parts of everyday lives and how it effects everyday lives. The idea of the base (the economic power) drives how people act and react about things in the superstructures is just amazing and how it one person doesn’t follow the way the economy steps something up how other people react the first person.
