Odyssey Online

About

Odyssey Online is the blog of the St. Lawrence University Libraries. It is written and maintained by Public Services Librarian,  Paul Doty. Odyssey Online will serve two purposes: firstly, as a source for the SLU community on all that is new in the SLU Libraries—resources, lectures, new collections, etc.. Odyssey Online will also serve as a venue for commentary and conversation on how networked information technology and academic practice converge. This commentary/conversation will cover such topics as Google, emergent web practices or technologies, web-based research, blogs and blogging, browsers, codes, and idiosyncratic things people do on the Internet in the name of academe. Contributions are welcome, and annotated link lists or short commentaries are especially appreciated. Mr. Doty reserves the right to edit or decline posts, and, likewise, comments are welcome, but Mr. Doty reserves the right to delete those that are not in keeping with the blog’s emphasis. Questions about the blog can be directed to Paul at pdoty@stlawu.edu.
