Don’t miss Bernard Cooper’s reading Thursday evening at 8pm in the Sykes Formal Lounge. Cooper is a prose master whose most recent focus has been on creative nonfiction. Cooper is currently working on a new collection of essays tentatively titled /My Avant Gard Education/. Check out a New York Times review of his book /The Bill From My Father: A Memoir/ here: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/02/19/books/review/19vincent.html?_r=0 Also, be sure to look at the lineup for the rest of this year’s Writers Series here: http://www.stlawu.edu/academics/programs/english/page/1406 Please note that, beginning with Cooper, the bottom four listed readers will be visiting this semester, in 2013, not 2012 as printed.
